The Journey

The Journey
Approximately 9996km. WOW. That's a lot of k's. Update 24th June 2012 bit of a miscalculation - we actually travelled 17154 kilometres. Now that really is a lot of k's.

Middle Lagoon

Lily at One Arm Point
28th May 2012
Went for a drive to the top of the Dampier Peninsular today. We visited the Trochus Shell Hatchery and explored the beaches at One Arm Point, called into Cape Leveque and had some expensive and not so great lunch, took a drive along the beach at Lombadina before ending our day back at Middle Lagoon. If my memory serves me correctly, One Arm Point charges $10 an adult to visit the community. After talking to a lot of other tourists, we discovered we were the only ones to pay it.

Cape Leveque charges $10 per vehicle, however your vehicle is not allowed to enter their grounds and must remain in the carpark whilst you explore on foot. Lombadina charges $10 per vehicle and is a nice little aboriginal community with a beautiful beach. We did lots of sand driving in Lombadina.
