The Journey

The Journey
Approximately 9996km. WOW. That's a lot of k's. Update 24th June 2012 bit of a miscalculation - we actually travelled 17154 kilometres. Now that really is a lot of k's.

Exmouth

Fishing
Another windy day. We went off to a fishing spot fourty odd kilometres out of town. I don't think we have ever caught so much bait in the cast net before. Whiting and Mullet like we've never seen. We caught Flathead, Bream and Trevaly. On the way back to camp, we stopped at the Solar Observatory, but as we had not pre-arranged a tour we were unable to go in. We stopped at the local fish co-op. Sadly their calamari was from Thailand but we did get some nice prawns that we ate for lunch up the road a bit at Pebble Beach.
Pebbles on Pebble Beach
Pebble Beach
We have quite the collection of rocks now. Everybody's (except Chris', he hates us collecting stuff) pockets were full of pebbles by the time it was time to go. The kids spent ages collecting the pebbles with holes in them to make necklaces and hanging rock chains.
