The Journey

The Journey
Approximately 9996km. WOW. That's a lot of k's. Update 24th June 2012 bit of a miscalculation - we actually travelled 17154 kilometres. Now that really is a lot of k's.

Broome

Port Beach Broome
Today was a day of checking out Broome, just cruising around getting to know Broome. First stop was the Courthouse Markets. It was the first market we had to been to since embarking on our adventure and the kids were hoping it would be like the Darwin markets. Unfortunately, they were nothing like Darwin. We still enjoyed them though. We had breakfast and juices; Chris had a massage and we bought some smelly soap.

In the afternoon, we went to Broome Port. The tide was a little bit too low and it was pretty windy so not a lot of fishing was done. The girls and I built a huge sea turtle sand sculpture in honour of World Turtle Day. We then drove around to Ganthaeume Point to see the dinosaur footprints.
