The Journey

The Journey
Approximately 9996km. WOW. That's a lot of k's. Update 24th June 2012 bit of a miscalculation - we actually travelled 17154 kilometres. Now that really is a lot of k's.

Exmouth to 40 Mile/Gnorea Point

Robe River - a lovely rest stop
A change in itenerary today. In our original plan we were aiming for the Fortescue River, a supposedly red hot fishing spot; but that's all that it was apparently. No toilet and in the mangroves. So back when we were in Cape Range, we decided to stay a few more days and skip Fortescue River all together. We intended on driving straight through to Point Samson, but called in to look at 40 Mile Gnorea Point and ended up staying. It is a great council run spot, no water, no toilet, but right on the beach for only $7 a night. Chris was in heaven.
