3rd April 2012 1533km's to date 966km's today
We left Charters Towers bright and early hoping to make up some of the kilometers we weren't able to do yesterday. The Flinders Highway is straight and flat. So easy to drive. Its somewhere near Charters Towers that you start to see the three and four trailer road trains. A quick stop at Hughenden to see the Muttaburrasaurous. On to Richmond for breakfast at Lake Fred Tritton. The lake is great for swimming and there is also a water park for the kids. We posed for the obligatory photo in front of the Kronosaurous and were on our way again.2012 Our family of 5 leave our home in Mackay Queensland to spend April, May & June in the Kimberleys & the Pilbara Western Australia
